cherry pippin is a small business focused of the work on chef Nichola Gensler, a former pastry chef at St John Bread and Wine and the popular gastro-pub The Anchor and Hope. Every week Nichola produces pastries, bread, cakes and homemade jams and marmalades to sell on the Saturday market stall at Tachbrook Street, Pimlico, SW1.

cherry pippin also retails some ingredients that are used in the kitchen including eggs from Treflach Farm, Lescure butter, Doves Farm organic flour and  special seasonal fruit and vegetables that are either handpicked from local farms or the best of imported produce, such as Sicilian lemons or Seville oranges. They also supply bread from St John Bakery including raisin bread and the popular white or brown sourdough.

As well as buying direct from our Saturday market stall in Pimlico,  you can order over the phone or here on this blog and we can arrange pick up or delivery. You may want to reserve items on Saturday to avoid disappointment as we often sell out of many items.

We try to keep prices as fair as possible. All of our produce is hand-made or hand-reared, from our eggs to the puff pastry on the eccles cakes and the “oven-blushed tomatoes” in our quiches.
